Job Title: Market Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for being a leader in sustaining the Bank's reputation as an ethical, responsible and integral member of the community.
  • Expand and retain both new and existing relationships by cross-selling services and partnering with appropriate Bank/Wintrust associates.
  • Participation on the Small Business Team.
  • Participate in developing, implementing, and marketing new products, and/or in making strategic product and marketing modifications.
  • Responsible for establishment and management of the sales performance of staff and achievement of sales goals, where applicable.
  • Facilitate regular staff meetings to communicate sales successes and marketing initiatives.
  • Represent the company in community/economic development activities and initiatives; ensure company visibility in all aspects of the community.
  • Ensure staff compliance with bank policies and government regulations by maintaining files, following internal audit, loan review, branch operations, and collection procedures. Adhere to operational controls including legal, corporate and regulatory procedures to ensure safety and security of customer and bank assets.
  • Qualify for, register and maintain mortgage lending originator (MLO) status with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing system and Registry (NMLS) according to the SAFE Act. Perform MLO activities in accordance with SAFE Act
  • Responsible for processing consumer loan requests, ensuring the staff has the appropriate documentation and understanding of loan products.
  • Maintain an understanding of CRA requirements and consistently work with other staff to reach our Charter's goal of Outstanding.
  • Travel between branches is required; some travel between banks may be necessary
  • Various other tasks as assigned

Experience Required:

  • Five or more years of experience managing in retail banking, or similar, environment.
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential documents and situations
  • Requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy
  • Requires strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual English and Spanish speaking highly preferred.

Education required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; two year college degree or specialized training or equivalent work experience preferred.

Job Title: Commercial Loan Administrator
Department: Commercial Lending - 20012 S. Wolf Road, Mokena, IL

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Service loan customers' daily needs, prepare requests for disbursements and advances, act as a liason between the lender and the client
  • Process loans accurately and efficiently
  • Meet compliance and other procedural requirements
  • Coordinate with Wintrust banks on participations bought and sold.
  • Maintain Monthly Problem Loan Report
  • Maintain the Legal Report
  • Review and approve all invoices for payment related to loan and/or OREO expenses. Capture those expenses on the loans.
  • Prepare all nonaccrual, charge-offs and/or transfer OREO memos for signature. Upon obtaining signature, forward to loan ops for processing and TREEV
  • Prepares monthly team board materials as requested
  • Act as administrator of Baker Hill
  • Assist Senior Credit Officer with projects and reports
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience Required:

  • 10 years or more of administrative experience in Commercial Banking & Loan Operations
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Explorer and Outlook. Also have the ability to learn bank systems and other software.
  • Must have a positive attitude and provide the highest level of professional customer service for both internal and external customer.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Title: Consumer Loan Administration Specialist
Department: Consumer Lending - 280 Veterans Parkway, New Lenox, IL

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare loan documentation including, but not limited to: Consumer Loans and Lines; Home Equity Lines of Credit; End of Term loans, Small Business Loans and Lines; Purchased Asset Division loans using Laser Pro. May include early disclosers.
  • Order flood determinations, title commitments, credit reports, and other due diligence.
  • Order construction draw inspections.
  • Order and review all due diligence for small business overdraft protection lines of credit, easy access term loans, and easy access lines of credit.
  • Notify relationship manager of any discrepancies found during the review or production of the loan documents or credit approvals, work with appropriate parties to obtain corrections, etc., in in order to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Ensure conformity to the Consumer Loan Procedures, credit policy, internal procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Process paid consumer loans including preparing mortgage releases, etc., and the letter to the customer.
  • Handle incoming phone calls, faxes, and emails from customer, fellow employees, and others regarding payment questions, payoff requests, etc.
  • Prepare subordination agreements for approved loans.
  • Prepare all loan folders for scanning to TREEV.
  • Monitor consumer loans post-closing for final policies, receipt of vehicle titles, receipt of recorded mortgages, etc., and follow-up with the proper party to obtain same.
  • All other duties which may be assigned.

Experience Required:

  • Must be familiar with banking regulations affecting consumer and commercial transactions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to function in a fast paced, high volume environment.
  • Must be detail oriented and have excellent written and oral skills.
  • Knowledge of LaserPro, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to structure loan transactions with correct legal documents.
  • Knowledge of Metavante (FIS) systems and consumer compliance preferred

Education required:

  • High School Degree (or equivalent), Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two - five years of experience with consumer loans is a must.

Duties and Responsibilities:
As an ambassador for the bank, provides personalized banking services to clients by performing various duties, including cash handling, operates multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and directs callers; welcomes and announces visitors to appropriate personnel; and provides support to team members by performing various duties. Including but not limited to the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Is able to express and bestow Old Plank Trail Community Bank's mission to clients - existing/potential, internal/external;
  • Possesses a professional image when greeting and welcoming all guests to the bank and assists as appropriate;
  • Identifies and promotes opportunities to fulfill needs for clients with Old Plank Trail Community Bank's suite of products and services, including: referring clients to our Treasury Management; and our affiliates: Wintrust Wealth Management and Wintrust Mortgage;
  • Processes client transactions, including: deposits; account withdrawals; cashing checks; and sales of cashier's checks, traveler's checks and gift cards, etc.
  • Balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift and compares totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen;
  • Accepts loan payments;
  • Removes deposits from and counts and balances cash in automated teller machines (ATM) and night depository;
  • Accepts and prepares wires transfer requests for clients;
  • Assists clients with account inquiries such as: balances, transaction history, item detail, online banking issues, or maintenance, etc.;
  • Fields routine inquiries, such as: rates, types of account Old Plank Trail Community Bank offers, fees for routine services; etc.
  • Performs research and problem solving as needed for clients;
  • Performs account/client maintenance such as: stop payments, funds transfers, ordering/maintenance/ inquiries of debit/ATM cards, and opening/renegotiating basic CDs, etc.;
  • Gathers all necessary information, prepares documentation, opens and maintains personal deposit accounts such as: certificates of deposit, checking, savings, and money markets accounts, etc. Provides ongoing relationship servicing to clients by providing such services as check ordering, on-line banking, debit card issues, address changes, account titling changes, and other account/client maintenance to maintain goodwill and gain additional business;

Experience Required:

  • Prior Customer service and/or Personal Banking experience is preferred.

  • Analyze financial information to assist loan officers in making subsequent lending decisions.
  • Assist lenders with preparing loan presentations for approval.
  • Assist loan officers in monitoring loan relationships for compliance with the Loan Agreement
  • Borrowing base monitoring
  • Work with Loan Officer to collect specific information necessary to make informed credit decisions. Examples include financial information from borrowers and industry information and market data from various other sources
  • *Other duties as assigned.

Experience Required:

  • A general familiarity with: major credit and depository services the bank offers to corporate customers; Federal and State banking regulations; the Bank's operational policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge and experience in a Commercial portfolio management or sales setting preferred.
